NEW: The Solomon Islands
This remote, seldom-traveled country in the south western corner of the Pacific was a major WWII battleground and is considered one of the worlds most exotic dive destinations. Our experience was facilitated by the renowned live-aboard dive vessel, M.V. Bilikiki. Thirteen nights aboard ship enabled diving sites in various regions, including the Florida Islands, Mary Island, the Russell Islands and Marovo Lagoon near New Georgia Island.

Twospot Snappers _D752646
A school of Two-spot Snapper – another first sighting for us. The school stays together, close to the sloping reef, calmly undulating while feeding into the current. If danger is perceived, they duck into the hard coral thicket for protection.
